vEmotion, an IM add-on, with which one can set background music for an IM call and simultaneously send voice emotions/sound effects to partners. Supported IMs include Skype, Msn, Gtalk, QQ, AIM and Yahoo Messenger. Now the beta test version is free from charge. Download it at http://www.voiceemotion.com.

I have tried it with Skype and Msn. And it came out as a good experience. Merely I found that some functions it alleged have not been deployed yet. Maybe they will be shipped with the next version.
